Subcon are pleased to announce the appointment of John Edwards to their board as chairman.

John brings over 35 years of marine experience as well as an extensive back ground in founding and building marine service companies through mergers and acquisitions.

John said, “Its an exciting time to be joining this dynamic team to support their next phase of growth. Subcon’s innovations in foundations and scour protection for offshore energy, ports and fisheries are really gaining traction. I’m particularly passionate about their unique approach to creating and restoring marine ecosystems. Subcon’s engineered reef solutions for offshore facility decommissioning, coastal erosion and fisheries are ground breaking and are in demand”.

Subcon currently have reef projects for coastal erosion control in Mauritius for the United Nations, an underwater art installation off the Goldcoast, repurposing offshore structures into new ecosystems in Australia and building new reefs to support fisheries in Western Australia, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
