As part of the widening and upgrade of Kindsford Smith Drive in central Brisbane, Australia, Lend Lease contracted Subcon to design and supply 18,000m2 of scour protection along the road’s revetment interface with the Brisbane River.
Supply of concrete mattresses fabricated at Client’s site over 6 months. High output fabrication rates of 200m2 per day were achieved.
Fabrication of 40m long mattress sections was completed with a cast and stacking system.
Design and supply of 40m long mattress lifting frame.
