Today it was announced that Subcon is to be acquired by MMA Offshore Limited.
“Listed on the ASX and headquartered in Perth, MMA Offshore is a global provider of offshore vessels,
marine and subsea services to the oil and gas, offshore wind and defence sectors.
The acquisition of Subcon is an exciting step forward for Subcon and being part of a larger group will
present new opportunities to grow and develop our business.
Upon completion of the acquisition, which is expected to occur in July 2022, Subcon will be integrated
into the MMA’s Subsea Services business, with Subcon’s current management team continuing to
lead and grow the business under MMA’s ownership.
For our clients, it is business as usual and we will continue to deliver the same high level of
operational excellence that you expect from Subcon. There will be no organisational changes at this point in time and our team’s contact details will be maintained.
With MMA and Subcon sharing aligned values, a strong sense of company culture and a commitment
to quality, safety and innovation, I am confident that the Subcon business can thrive under MMA’s
ownership and look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional services for our clients.
