The Mundaring Weir was constructed in c. 1900 as the potable water source for the Coolgardie Water Supply Scheme.

The Mundaring Weir Outlet Works Upgrade included the upgrade and refurbishment of the existing intake tower and outlet structures, this included replacement of aging infrastructure and updating of the intake and outlet works to meet future climatic requirements.

Subcon scope

Subcon’s scope on this project was to develop the grouting procedure, selection of plant and equipment to perform the works, development of a grout mix design, trial run in Subcon’s yard, supply of the grout products and grouting of three existing inlet sleeves.
