X-Span revolutionises subsea deepwater pipeline span rectification. It is a resin-based system that addresses the key issues faced by operators of deepwater facilities when trying to implement grouted and prefabricated span support solutions. X-Span is deployed on an ROV driven subsea skid. It contains a two-part resin that once combined has a density of 2000kg/m3, is mixed at depth at the span and sets in less than 10 minutes providing a fully flexible solution. Our X-Span Subsea Pumping Skid is an ROV powered, integrated resin batching plant consisting of pressure compensated reservoirs, twin progressive cavity pumps and ROV Class 1-4 Drive. The spread can be customised to pump various two-part resins into subsea applications via a static mixer. Installation times can be reduced by up to 90% by replacing cementitious grouts with resins. Resin densities up to 1.96sg can be pumped continuously in water depths of up to 3000m. X-Span
